FirstLive Studio Presents: 30 Days to Rock

A Virtual Art and Music Festival to “Keep the Vibe Alive”

(Brooklyn, New York) FirstLive Studio is proud to announce the launch of 30 Days to Rock, a  virtual art and music fundraising festival showcasing local musicians, producers, and artists, as a way to reunite post-COVID-19.  30 Days to Rock will safely bring people together to lift spirits, present live and virtual broadcasts, pay independent artists, and raise funds to continue our mission of service and support.

For 30 consecutive days, beginning July 2, FirstLive Studio will host virtual events and live daily performances from their internet broadcasting studio in Bushwick. The festival is a collaboration with local promoters, artists, and musicians of all genres and disciplines. All performances will stream live to www.30daystorock.us, and archive footage will be available to view through August 31. Donations will be accepted during this time on the site via a digital “tip jar.” The financial target for the studio to balance the books and pay artists is $100K. Money raised from donations will be shared equally between artists and the studio. FirstLive will give its resources; the broadcasting studio, professional expertise, a crew, and all media recordings to the artists participating – for no charge.

“Our philosophy has and will always be to focus first on the art and the people who create it. The time is right for a community-centric internet “virtual” broadcasting studio. We need to navigate the financial challenge during this time. Conceptually, the idea of 30 Days is equal parts challenge and necessity. We will continue to create, and produce for as long as we can, and we encourage artists to do the same,” says Founder and Creative Director, Danny Garcia.

SAFETY
FirstLive is committed to maintaining CDC/NY state guidelines on cleanliness to provide a safe and professional platform for creative expression and civic engagement, including studio capacity limit, social distancing, hand-washing, daily cleaning & disinfecting and wearing of masks.
